After finishing working in the morning we completed teaching our final lesson to the students. We then headed out for a new experience, visiting and learning about the Maasai people. We first experienced a traditional dance, which we were able to join in. Then a lightning storm, which made us spend some time sitting in the bus. One of the Maasai men, Lucas, spoke to us about their culture and answered our questions. The most exciting but also hardest part was the killing and butchering of a goat whom we named Larry. We were able to try the goat later that night. Sitting around the fire we talked story, learned more about the Maasai people and enjoy the goat if we pleased to.
